ELLIS Summer School Scholarship

ELLIS Manchester is committed to fostering diversity and inclusive in research and acknowledges the financial challenges faced by researchers from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. To address this issue, we are pleased to announce our ‘ELLIS Manchester Development Scholarship’, aimed at providing financial assistance to applicants facing economic hardships during their research pursuits.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a PhD program or PDRAs in the early stages of their careers. Financial need must be demonstrated and should also demonstrate a commitment to contributing to diversity and inclusion in their respective fields.

If you believe you should be considered, please email ellis@manchester.ac.uk, including a brief summary to tell us about you, your research and to demonstrate the need of support to attend the ELLIS summer school. The selection will made by the ELLIS Manchester Steering Group. As this funding is limited, we recommend you apply as early as you can.
